Pacific Northwest Glass Guild

Formerly know as the Oregon Glass Guild they have expanded their scope to include the whole Pacific Northwest.  The Pacific Northwest Glass Guild promotes the value and significance of glass art to the public, while providing opportunities for existing and potential glass artists to develop their skills through education and fellowship.

New Stained Glass Classes!!

We are adding two evening Beginning Stained Glass classes!
Felicia Hines who has been teaching at Kennedy High School is going to teach evening classes.  Click for Details!

Daytime Classes with 6 student limit are currently held Tuesday thru Saturday.   Also there will be a Monday daytime class and two evening classes, Monday & Wednesday with class limit at 8.  There will be two sessions for the evening classes.  Details Here

Introduction to Fusing

September 25, 2021 3-6pm

This is a class for all of you who want to learn the fun and pleasure of working with warm glass.  You will cut and layer pieces of glass to make a fun and  lovely tile!  If you don't know how to cut glass don't worry, arrange with us to come in before the class and we will teach you the basics and have you cutting your first project before you know it!!!

Fusing Club

Second Tuesdays

This is an open workshop where you can get help and inspiration with your fusing projects.  Project samples will be available.  Firing for one project included.  Purchase of supples and additional firings required.

Beginning Glass Beadmaking

In this class Kathy will teach you how to make beautiful glass beads.   You will come away with a handful of beads that you have made yourself in this hands on class!  Learn the basic techniques of safety, glass selection and then melting the glass to make your beads!  A wonderful class to learn the basics of beadmaking!!!

Reactive Fused Glass

October 23, 2021  3-6pm

Take this class to learn basics of working with reactive glass.  You'll get an introduction to the chemistry involved in getting these wonderful and somewhat unpredictable results!

Fused Glass Jewelry

Members $75
Learn some basic methods for making fused glass jewelry in this introductory class. You'll make pendants, earrings and bracelets.  Dichroic glass will be available to give your jewelry some extra sparkle!  And you will get a lesson in wire wrapping glass too!

Glass Expressions Class & Membership Program

We offer beginning and continuing education Stained Glass Classes. The Beginners Class will be held at the start of each quarter of the year and is a 6 week course.  After completing this class, students can join the membership program and continue to attend the class and practice and learn more advanced techniques   The benefits of the membership include attendance of  the regular Stained Glass sessions,  receive a 10% discount on tools and supplies and Free attendance of the Second Tuesday Fusing Club.  This is an excellent way to get help with your projects, have a place to work and have the camaraderie of other students and members working at all levels.

Friends In Glass is a not-for-profit group to support those interested in glass as an art form either as artists or collectors. We focus on our local Pacific NW area but will include a few items for those who go traveling.
